A Story About A Women in Her 30s

A long long time ago...

There is a girl called 'Kim'. She was a very good, brave and upright person who had married to a guy called 'Bee'. Bee had a weak body. Fighting the illness and laying on the bed is what he can do. Illness and misfortunes always happen on him. His wife, Kim always helped him to manage the family. Just few years after their marriage, they got a pair of children, a boy, Chong and a girl, Qin.

Kim didn't gave up on Bee In contrary, she fought bravely for her family survival. Kim had took the role as the breadwinner of the family and as a full-time housewife. The family needed the money so badly and every cent are hopes for Kim. The children were still small and innocent as they just born. She had to rubber-tape in one of the neighbour's estate to cover all her husband's hospital expenditures as well as the children's pocket money.

Racism, was a sensitive topic up to now and during that time, the land just independent, freed from any occupation. There was still a gap between races and nobody is nobody's friend. Kim's neighbour, Pak Abu was an authentic 'kampung' Malay who was a racist. He dislike Kim and her family. Kim offered to help him to rubber-tape his farm. At first, he accept the offered. The estate was few hectares and few workers were hired by Pak Abu for rubber-tapping. Kim worked very hard and saved up all her salary. She was the first rubber tapper to have motorbike.

Others were very angry with Kim as she rubber-taped all the rubber trees in the estate. They told Pak Abu that Kim took part of the money from the selling to buy motorbike and her family. Pak Abu was very angry and disappointed on Kim and accused Kim without any further investigations. Kim was shocked. Kim had no others way beside than quitting her current job. Her family also harrassed by the nearby neighbourhood.

A while after the incident, she found a land. A large, fertile land that suitable for any growing and planting. She used all her saving to get the land. Within a week, she got the approval from the government property department that the land transaction was complete. She quickly took the tools and started a job, farmer.
After she had enough saving, she quickly moved away and settled down at a new place, Kampung Batu Hampar. She was satisfied with the new venue even though they were the only Chinese family in the village. Bee also freed from diseases after they moved out from the bad 'Feng Shui' house. Bee joined his wife in her farm.....
